WHAT IS “THAT’S WHAT SHE RIFFED”?

“That’s What She RIFFED” is the first All-Female Live Riffing show of Georgia! It is made up of
a group of women that we call “She-Riffs” that view horror, sci-fi, fantasy, noir, and animation
films in front of a live audience who watch as they riff and comment on the movie as it is playing
similar to Mystery Science Theater 3000, but through the lens of an All-Female cast. There is
no rehearsal and everything is completely improvisation with many of the films having never
been seen by the She-Riffs.

The show is once a month (usually the third Saturday of each month but check the schedule for
specific dates) and there are between 2-4 members of the troupe per presentation so you never
know who you will get to see from one month to the next. On special occasions there may also
be a Special Guest invited to join the troupe.

Since the show is completely improvisation it is a great night out for comedy and watching an
infamous film as there is never a “popular” film screened but more obscure, forgotten, or outright
bad films (so, you’re paying more attention to the She-Riffs than the film itself). This is a great
night out for the solitary individual as well as friends and couples and groups that just want to
have a good time. Don’t be surprised if the She-Riffs interact which the projector screen or
directly with audience members as this is all part of the show!
