Program
Welcome from our Co-Festival Director, Kevin Powers
Welcome to the 2022 Something Wicked Film Festival Online Festival Event! We are proud to be bringing audiences another great year of independently produced short and feature films from all over the world. We have an amazing line up of films that indie film lovers will enjoy!
The entire list of "Official Selections" will be available to view online (with the exception of a few films that are still in competition but will not be available to view during the online event). In addition to the films online we also have a special GA SPOTLIGHT this year featuring local film-maker DAVE RAJKUMAR!
This year we are also honoring film-maker ONDIE DANIEL with our "Lifetime Achievement" Award! She has had an amazing effect on the local film-making community and like always, we want to give thanks and honor the people who continue to thrive and work in our industry.
Even though this will be an Online Festival Event, for local film-makers and audiences we will also be hosting a special "Best of the Festival" screening on Saturday, July 30th! This curated screening of films has been chosen by myself and my staff as films that we greatly enjoyed. FYI - these films were not chosen by our Festival Judge and Jury Members.
We will also have Panel Discussions, film-maker interviews, and other great stuff for you to enjoy this July 29-31 as SWFF finishes off it's 7th Year!
"BEST OF THE FESTIVAL" Screening will be held at Southern Performing Arts Academy on Saturday, July 30th starting at 6:00PM where we will begin the night with our special screening - GA SPOTLIGHT PRESENTS: DAVE RAJKUMAR. Following this screening at 8:00PM, we will screen the "Best of the Festival" Films following some open remarks about our event and our Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation to Ondie Daniel. This night will truly be an amazing one for audiences and film-makers! We hope to see you there!
