Welcome to SWFF Boris Karloff Tribute Weekend! We aim to celebrate the achievements of this amazing cinematic talent through his life in film. On our website - www.somethingwickedfilmfestival.com - you will be able to see an amazing list of his films available for free through You Tube but we are also hosting LIVE watch party screenings hosted by Kevin L Powers, SWFF's own Co-Festival Director and Program Director.
The entire event will be from November 13-14. The Free and Online viewing/watch party films will be from 12P-12A each day and feature a variety of Karloff’s most well know films.
In order to access these screening you will need to have a Zoom account. The link to watch the films is above.
The meeting will be open 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. During the screening Mr. Powers will give his own commentary and ask and answer questions from other viewers so feel free to involve yourselves. You can also just enjoy the film as well.
We hope that weekend will give new light to the amazing contributions that Karloff had on film and that viewers will seek out other films that were not the focus of this weekend. We encourage everyone who enjoys these films to add them to your collection whether a digital copy or physical copy as they are completely worth it!
